SWIM entries are past due... see Coach Maya if you are still interested.

July 1st Swim Meet – Dutchman Downs at Home Plan on arriving at the pool at 4:45 to get setup and warmups begin promptly at 5:00.

Volunteer sign-in – The Volunteer sign-in table will be located just inside the front gate.  Please check in as soon as you arrive – even if your volunteer job does not begin at that time.  This enables us to enter you in the raffle as well as assess the need to recruit substitute volunteers for open positions.

Attention Swimmers ages 11-14:  Bring Bake Sale items.  Please deliver the items before 6 pm if possible to the Bake Sale table located next to the front desk.

Where can we park?  As a courtesy to the visiting team’s families and swimmers, we reserve the swimming pool parking lot for their use.  You may use the fire lane for drop-off.  Parking is available on the following streets:  Old Raleigh Road (both sides), Chimney Hill (one side only), Carriage Ridge (one side only), Shepherds Vineyard Drive (both sides).  Parking is also available at the library lot.  Please note that the offices and daycare have not given us permission to park in their lots during their regular business hours.  The best plan is to walk/ride a bike if you can.

Post-meet Outing/Fundraiser:  The swim team will be gathering at the Ice Cream Shoppe in downtown Apex immediately after the meet.  Everyone is invited!  A percentage of the sales will be donated to SVST.

What should I wear to the meet?  Show your team spirit by decking out in your Killer Whales Spiritwear.  If you need another shirt, hoodie, shorts, tattoos, buttons, cap or bag, then stop by the Spiritwear table at the meet.

Upcoming Dates – Things to do:

Sign out sheets... as soon as a page fills up, Coach Maya takes it down.  No need to sign another sheet for the same meet.

There will be NO afternoon practice for pre-swim team on Thursday, July 3rd...

There will be NO practice on July 4th (for pre-swim and swim team)

July 23rdKiller Whales Swim Team Banquet – Purchase your tickets at the meet tomorrow night.  Tickets are $5 per adult & $2.50 for 6 & under.  See the flyer for additional information.
