About Our Pool
Our pool is located off Hwy 64, near Old Raleigh Road, on Shepherd's Vineyard Drive. Local landmarks are the Eva Perry Library and the Wendy's fast food place on the corner of Rt 64 and Lake Pine Roads. Lake Pine Road turns into Old Raleigh Road as it nears the pool.
The pool is kind of shaped like an "S".
We use all 8 lanes for meets. The pool is closed and used only for competition on meet days. Lanes 1 and 8 have some sections where there is wall next to the lane. Each lane has a tiled black line on the bottom of the pool.
Shepherd's Vineyard pool was built in 1985 by Carolina Aqutech Pools, Inc.
We use 196,800 gallons of water. The floor surface area of the big pool is 5540 sq ft. The baby pool is 12 X 24.
